CSpeak - Configuration system failed to initialize

Description

Shortly after launching CSpeak or logging in, the user will be presented with an exception stating, "Configuration system failed to initialize".

Root Cause

The configuration files used by the Dragon Medical SpeechKit have become corrupted.

Resolution

  1. Close CSpeak.

  2. Navigate to the path, "C:\Users\{YourUserName}\AppData\Local\" and delete the folders, "Clinically_Speaking" and "Nuance".

  3. Launch CSpeak.

This is a user specific issue and will need to be addressed individually for each affected user.
